However, sometimes we do like that extra zing of flavor and that’s where this sauce comes in. This sauce is also a good accompaniment with steamed dumplings.
Key Features and Tips
This recipe is mild and is usually the base of most traditional dipping sauce that accompanies Korean dumplings (mandu). If you want this sauce to be a bit spicy, add in a dash more of ground black pepper and a dash of cayenne pepper. Just keep adding a little bit of each until it is to your liking.
